My Spring Bucket List – 3 Things I Look Forward To This Season

Have you ever made a bucket list? A list of things you want to accomplish at some point in your life? When my husband and I first started dating, we made a bucket list together and still have it almost 6 years later. We added so many things and have crossed off a few in the last few years, like skydiving and camping under the stars. This spring, I thought it might be fun to make my own bucket list of sorts. It doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s all about having fun!

Here are the top 3 things on my Spring Bucket List:

1. Splash in puddles with my kids.

This is something I’ve done before with Jackson and it was an experience I hope I never forget. The joy he had was so precious! Now Sophie’s getting bigger and just got her very own pair of rain boots!

2. Buy a bouquet of flowers, just because.

When I worked full-time, I did this a lot. There’s just something so fun about coming home to a beautiful, fresh bouquet of flowers! In college, I worked at a floral shop for about a year, and have always loved flowers. I learned all about making pretty arrangements. Even though I’d finished working at the floral shop, I wasn’t finished designing. Once we moved to Loup City and I became a stay-at-home mom, I stopped buying “just because” flowers for myself, for some reason. This spring, though, it’s something I’d love to bring back, even if it’s a $5 bouquet once a month.

3. Read. Read. READ!

I’m putting this on my bucket list simply to motivate me to read a little more and make it a priority. Lately, I’ve purchased a few books that I’m excited to read, but seem to push them to the side when I actually have time to read. I’m definitely guilty of wasting way too much time scrolling on social media. So this spring, I will read a book a month, at least. If I fit more in in that timeframe, great! If not, no pressure! Either way, adding it to my top 3 will help keep me motivated.

Now it’s your turn! What’s on your Spring Bucket List? 🌷
